The Holy Rosary Theater Group
The Holy Rosary Theater Group (HRTG) was started in 2003 by Laurel Fulcher and Adam Vidiksis. Since our 1st musical review we have grown by leaps and bounds. We now perform musicals each spring, provide a summer acting and singing workshop which started the HRTG players. Each fall we perform a play which is a fundraiser for Holy Rosary School. The group also sings bi annually at local nursing homes, HR School's Spirit of Community Awards Luncheon and are hoping to perform at this years Holy Rosary night at the SI Yankee stadium. Our group is open to young adults starting in the summer of their 5th grade year. We welcome members of our parish and any other parishes that may be interested in joining.
The mission of the Holy Rosary Theater group is to build character and improve professional and interpersonal skills through song and dance in a theatrical setting. All of the students participating in the program receive an empowering experience that elicits leadership, dedication, teamwork and most of all respect for one another. The staff through their example provides an environment that teaches Christian values and closeness to the Church. It is crucial that we instill these qualities in young people during their impressionable teenage years.
Holy Rosary Summer Camp

The Holy Rosary Summer Camp is entering their 15th season, once again under the direction of Laurel Fulcher. Our camp was started in 1997, by Jim Piccolo & HR Youth Ministry. It has always been a unique summer program where parish teens, under adult direction, were given an opportunity to learn many valuable skills and responsibilities as counselors. They provided all campers attending the camp a big brother/big sister experience, that carried on summer to summer. The first year the camp had 19 campers, since then we have grown to over 100 campers. Our camp is made up of children from Pre school age children to 8th graders from all parishes and schools around Staten Island. We provide many on site activities and events for all ages. Some highlights include our annual talent show, Zumba for kids, pizza making, water balloons, organized team sports, FDNY smoke house, NYP library visits, local bowling trips, SI Go-Carts and much more.

There are other activities as well: Youth Ministry, Boy and Girl Scouts and Sports.
