Our School:

Holy Rosary is a Roman Catholic parish elementary school, Pre-K through 8th grade, whose purpose is to educate Christian youngsters in a community of Faith . It is where, on a daily basis, children can learn and see that Jesus is the center of their lives. Our students develop morally, intellectually, physically and spiritually. Academic excellence is a mutually accepted goal. Our school is also a place for children to learn about the world and themselves - who they are and what they can be. Parents, teachers, students, administrators, religious, and clergy work together to provide a quality religious education and witness to a living faith commitment of love and service to God and neighbor.

At the heart of our mission as a parish family is teaching our children the Good News of Jesus Christ and sharing with them the Traditions and Beliefs of our Catholic Faith. Our School of Religion program strives to do this for children in grades one to eight who attend the local public schools. Our program follows the GUIDELINES FOR CATECHESIS prepared by the New York Archdiocesan Catechetical Office.

Classes, taught by dedicated volunteer catechists, are held at the following times:

Grades 1 to 5 Sunday mornings in two sessions

Grades 6, 7 and 8 Thursday evenings 6:30 - 7:45 PM

Registration is open to children of families registered in Holy Rosary Parish.

Registration: Registration for new students to the program takes place in June and a later registration is held in early September. Registration dates and fees are published in the parish church bulletin.
